 "Every day with Scarlet brings a new favorite memory. Our partnership improves every day and I think a huge part of that is the foundation she was given by Alicia and Alyssa. She arrived as sweet, confident, and sensible as she is today, with deep trust in people and a love of learning.  "One of my riders doesn't often show emotion and is also nonverbal. Each week, she speed walks into the arena and waits eagerly to ride Scout, staring at him the entire time. Once she mounts, she has a small smile on her face almost the entire ride. Occasionally at the beginning or end of the lesson she yells happily and enthusiastically pats Scout on the neck. It's exciting to see her express so much emotion as she interacts with him. Last week, once she dismounted, she went up to his nose and grabbed the lead rope. He set his muzzle on her shoulder and she gently leaned her head against it. Her connection with him is special.
