Beautiful, Balanced, and an Absolute Joy to Ride!

Camilla is one of those horses that makes you look forward to getting in the saddle every day. She's beautiful, feminine, incredibly sweet, and has quickly become my personal favorite to ride!

What makes Camilla so enjoyable is how naturally balanced she is. Her gaits are wonderfully comfortable and incredibly easy to sit, with a lovely feel in both directions. She's responsive, willing, and has a great attitude toward learning. She genuinely seems to enjoy her work, and I always finish our rides with a smile.

One of my favorite things about Camilla is her consistency. Whether she's been ridden every day or has had several days off, she's the same horse when you get back on. There's no drama or need to work through excess energy. She's just ready to go to work, and that kind of reliability is something I really appreciate in a horse.

Camilla is still developing her strength and learning to relax and stretch more consistently into the contact. She can occasionally come behind the vertical rather than reaching forward into the bridle, so we're taking our time encouraging her to stretch through her neck and back and confidently seek the contact. It's an important part of her continued dressage education, but outside of that, she's a remarkably uncomplicated horse to ride.

And she's not just enjoyable in the arena! Camilla is also wonderful on the trails, making her a lovely option for someone who enjoys a variety of activities with their horse.

On the ground, she's every bit as sweet as she is under saddle. She has a kind, affectionate personality and is simply a pleasure to have around the barn.

What I love most about Camilla is that she combines so many qualities that can be difficult to find in one horse: beautiful movement, comfortable gaits, a willing mind, consistency, and a genuinely sweet personality.

She's the kind of horse I think an adult amateur could have a wonderful time developing, enjoying both dressage training and relaxing rides outside the arena.

I'll admit, Camilla is going to be a hard one for me to let go of. She's become a favorite for a reason, and I would love to see her find someone who enjoys riding her as much as I do.
