Callie took her first lesson at 7 years old and hasn’t looked back since. She has an Eventing background and was a working student for Denise Rath at Grey Fox Farms for one year where she learned a great deal about bringing along young horses. She broadened her knowledge base as Assistant Trainer under Gina Pletch who placed an emphasis on the Biomechanics of riding. Callie has also started and brought along her Mustang, Sal, with the coaching of Nadia Heffner.

Alyssa has been riding and showing for 25 years. She has experience in multiple disciplines, but for the last 13 years has primarily focused on dressage. She trainer her personal horse Cheerio herself from training level to Prix St George’s and is one score away from completing her silver medal. Alyssa has always had a passion for riding lots of different types of horses and Legacy offers the perfect opportunity!

Emma did not grow up in a horse oriented family; she stumbled into the world when visiting a local Forest Preserve farm. She started volunteering at that same farm and fell hopelessly victim to the horse craze. She started her journey under the guidance of eventing trainer Matt Trynoski. Under Matt’s training, she learned about gentling and starting mustangs.
Emma obtained her BS in Equine Business Management and Equine Training and Instruction from The University of Findlay. At Findlay, she studied under some of the AQHA greats: Art O’Brien, Cindy Morehead, Steve Brown, Clark Bradley, and Meri Sheffler Marsh.
After college, Emma worked as an assistant trainer under Tina Judge Boyle of Judgement Farms for seven years. Emma also Pro-Rode for Susan Kovalik of Camelot Farms.
Emma loves starting young horses with a solid foundation and teaching the horse about self carriage, balance, and confidence. She enjoys teaching the rider about the biomechanics; she is passionate about teaching her students to understand how to work with different conformational downfalls and how to effectively overcome them.

Makenzie has been around horses her entire life. Her passion began with her grandmother, who introduced her to horses at a young age and ultimately sparked her lifelong love for them. She began taking riding lessons and showing horses around the age of 10, leasing a variety of mounts and competing in all-around events ranging from barrel racing to jumping to western pleasure. Makenzie was also a dedicated 10-year Horse and Pony member at the Porter County Fairgrounds.
Fulfilling her childhood dream, Makenzie purchased her own horse when she turned 18—a mare named Kitty, whom she has owned for five years and considers her best friend. Together, they compete across the state at venues such as the Midwest Saddle Club in Valparaiso and the Jasper County Fairgrounds in Rensselaer, though their favorite destination remains the ranch horse shows in Berrien Springs, Michigan.
Grateful for a life surrounded by horses, Makenzie deeply values the bond she shares with these remarkable animals. She considers being part of their world—one filled with strength, kindness, and spirit—an irreplaceable privilege she will never take for granted.

Kade is a young man who has pursued a number of interests, some of which still reign strong in his life. He is a current student at PNW, he's gone hunting, and frequents fishing with his family when he can. By ages 18-19 he worked one year as a laborer, by the age of 20 he worked 8 years at a blueberry farm as a landscaper and pruner. Now he finds himself in a new environment surrounded by horses. Whatever his future may hold, give and take, he will be forever inspired by horses strength and endurance.
