Emma brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to Legacy Sport Horses, blending her love of learning with a deep commitment to the wellbeing and development of both horses and riders. She thrives on teaching conformation and physiology, helping riders understand how their position and aids influence their horse’s way of going, while also tailoring training programs to bring out each horse’s full potential.
With a BS in Equine Business Management and Equine Training & Instruction from The University of Findlay, Emma has a proven record of starting young horses, building their confidence, and preparing them to become successful show partners for children and amateurs alike. She has worked extensively with veterinarians, chiropractors, massage therapists, nutritionists, and farriers, developing a keen eye for maintaining horses’ comfort, soundness, and performance.
Emma’s professional background includes seven years as an assistant trainer under USEF “r” judge Tina Judge Boyle and Lori Holland at Judgement Farms, as well as professional showing experience with Susan Kovalik of Camelot Farms. She has also trained with legendary horsemen across multiple disciplines, including Art O’Brien, Cindy Morehead, Steve Brown, Clark Bradley, Meri Sheffler Marsh, Stacey Westfall, and Shawn Flarida.
Her students have successfully competed in USHJA A and B circuit shows, while she herself has built a reputation for developing horses with self-carriage, balance, and confidence. With a quiet but confident style of riding, Emma excels at working with horses labeled as “quirky” or “challenging,” as well as rehabbing horses recovering from injuries.
At Legacy, Emma combines her deep knowledge, calm presence, and veterinary curiosity to create tailored programs that develop both horse and rider. Whether she’s starting a youngster, fine-tuning a show horse, or guiding a student, Emma’s thoughtful approach ensures progress, confidence, and long-term success.
Callie brings a thoughtful, biomechanics-focused approach to her training, helping both horses and riders unlock greater balance, harmony, and effectiveness. Training under the guidance of Suzanne Galdun, Callie has developed a deep understanding of the biomechanics of riding—translating the smallest adjustments in rider position into meaningful improvements in the horse’s way of going.
She excels at teaching riders how to organize their bodies for maximum influence and clarity while building horses that are soft, responsive, and confident. Whether she’s working with a young prospect or fine-tuning a seasoned partner, Callie is patient, detail-oriented, and dedicated to producing lasting progress without shortcuts.
Her program emphasizes not only dressage training but also the importance of well-rounded horses that can confidently hack out on trails, handle new environments with ease, and remain relaxed and rideable in all situations. Callie’s riders and horses alike benefit from her calm demeanor, clear communication, and ability to make even complex concepts feel accessible.
At Legacy, Callie is a cornerstone of the training team—valued for her consistency, positive energy, and the trust she builds with every horse she works with. Her dedication to biomechanics ensures horses develop strength, suppleness, and self-carriage, while riders gain the tools to feel more secure, connected, and effective in the saddle.
